1. DavkaBT userlevels

When you register on DavkaBT you're an Lite User. Lite User is promoted to User after 30 days (it's a test of this user behavior). Lite User can post messages in ChatBook only (but remember about the rules). User can access and post on the forum additionally.
There are other ranks on DavkaBT: Power User(PU) - hard working guy, who did something for DavkaBT, Donator - nice guy who donated money to DavkaBT, VIP(VIP) - important person for basketball society, Moderator - guy who can delete posts and upload torrents to DavkaBT, Admin - it's me - Davka :-)

If you want to post on the forum you have to transfer your DavkaBT account to the forum. To do this go to user's Control Panel (click on your nickname on main page) and click Transfer to forum (Lite Users can't do this).

If you have torrent to offer (and you're not an uploader or moderator) send it to me by e-mail (.torrent + info about video file, codec etc.).

2. How to download files

To download NBA games from my site you need BitTorrent client - software that can use .torrent files (small files that I host on my site) to download other files (in this case - big video files). I really recommend uTorrent (link on bottom). If you have any problems and you're using other BT client than uTorrent, don't even post it in comments or mail me! So download and install uTorrent.
Now when you click on yellow link (and choose Open...) uTorrent will start and info about torrent will be displayed. Click OK and uTorrent will try to start downloading.
In most cases file is downloading now. If not, the cause may be:
If you see text garbage when you left click torrent link on my site - right click on the link and choose Save target as (or something similiar) OR copy and paste link to your BitTorrent client.

If you can't download files with chinese characters (displayed as some garbage) and/or you get errors like "Couldn't allocate dir" try using uTorrent. If it not helps you may need a Windows 2000/XP and NTFS partition (that support Unicode).

DHT network is a feature that supports torrent downloading without a tracker. So you can download a torrent with DHT enabled even when tracker is down or gives error. uTorrent, Azureus and BitComet support DHT (should be enabled by default). ABC, BitTornado and other older clients don't support DHT!

If you don't know something - read full BT FAQ!

And remember: WE DON'T PUT NOT WORKING TORRENTS ON MY SITE (almost :-)

uTorrent (recommended BitTorrent client) - DOWNLOAD
Azureus (Java BitTorrent client) - DOWNLOAD

3. How to play video files

To play RealMedia (.RM , .RMVB) files you need RealOne player or Real Aternative (RealMedia codecs) + Media Player Classic (or other player which can use Real Aternative codecs).

To play DivX/XviD (.avi) files you need only newest DivX or XviD codec (it can play all MPEG-4 formats - you must choose this option in installer, so XviD codec is not needed).

To play H264/X264 files you need ffdshow (or other H264 decoder like commercial but faster CoreAVC).

To play MPEG (.mpg , .mpeg) files you need only Windows built-in codecs and player (of course you can use other players).

I recommend two players: Media Player Classic (MPC) or VideoLAN media player (VLC).

Media Player Classic - DOWNLOAD (there are versions for Windows 2K/XP and 98/ME)
VideoLAN media player (VLC) - DOWNLOAD (Windows, Linux, MacOS, BeOS)
Real Alternative codec - DOWNLOAD
XviD codec - DOWNLOAD (Koepi, download Latest stable binary)
DivX codec - DOWNLOAD (you don't need to fill all fields on download page, just click DOWNLOAD)
H264/X264 - DOWNLOAD (for decoding download ffdshow, for coding download X264 encoder)
